New Positions At
Roland
Roland DGA Corporation announced the appointment of Rachel Hammer Product
Manager for rotary devices, including Roland milling and engraving machines.
Marc Malkin joins Roland as a public relations representative. Ron Kienast, a
12 year Roland veteran, is promoted to the position of manager of purchasing
and distribution.
Thompson Joins Cosmo
Films
Cosmo Films, Ltd. hires sales and marketing practitioner Chuck Thompson to
enhance its label films presence in the North American market. Thompson's
initial focus is on digital print, specifically on demand print and books and
also labels and packaging.
New Appointment At
INX
INX International Ink Co., Schaumburg, Ill, has appointed Ken Ferguson to the
position of technical manager for distributors. Mr. Ferguson comes to INX with
more than 25 years industry experience, spending the last 18 years at Van Son
Holland Ink. "As the technical director at Van Son, Ken brings enormous
experience in the distribution arena to INX," says Michael Brice, INX
Internationl's director of business development.
Drytac Promotes Four
Members to Its Business Development and Sales Management Team
Drytac®, an international manufacturer and distributor of graphics
finishing equipment and supplies, recently promoted four staff members to a
newly restructured business development and sales management team. Jerry Hill,
Luigi Cristicini, Wayne Colbath and Todd Wooden have taken on new roles as
Drytac® pursues greater business opportunities throughout the United States
and Canada.
Hill, former vice president of sales and
marketing for North and South America, was named vice president of new market
business development. He will be charged with developing new, non-traditional
markets for the Drytac® line of products.
Cristicini, former product application
specialist, reports to Hill and will serve as business development manager for
Drytac® Canada. Colbath and Wooden, former regional sales managers for the
U.S., have been appointed to southern U.S. national sales manager and northern
U.S. national sales manager, respectively.
"With more than 50 years of combined
experience at Drytac®, these individuals have the product knowledge and
expertise needed to move our business forward," said Marc Oosterhuis,
Drytac® President. "Their contributions will enhance our customer
support and help us focus on future market expansion."
Don Newberry Is Now
Regional Sales Manager, Eastern U.S. At Harris & Bruno Int'l
Twenty eight years of industry experience helps Don understand printers' needs.
Don's role is to be the outside sales representative and main point of contact
to printers in his region. He's available to visit facilities and see
first-hand how to best suit H&B's printing and coating solutions to meet
individual needs.
For 13 years, he ran presses and managed
pressrooms. He then worked 15 years for a press manufacturer. His roles
included showroom demonstration, product testing and development, marketing,
managing a technical center, and managing business development. During this
time, he became familiar with H&B ancillary components. "Harris &
Bruno is easy to do business with and has a great reputation in the
industry," Don said. "Being a progressive company with a strategic
plan to succeed, it was an easy decision to join.
Presstek Promotes John
Meyer
In his role as vice president of marketing, John will report directly to
Chairman, President & CEO Stan Freimuth. In addition to a practical
business approach, John brings a strong product management and marketing
background to his new position," said Freimuth. "He understands our
industry well, having spent the bulk of his career at Fujifilm where he held
the position of Vice President of Marketing for the Imaging Group for several
years prior to joining Presstek. He will be a valuable addition to our
Leadership Team."

Dave Perszyk
Mueller Graphics says it is pleased to announce a new addition to their team,
Dave Perszyk. Dave's role will be as an Application Specialist: Plate,
Pressroom and Color. Dave has over 35 years of experience in sales and
technical support, and will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the
pressroom. In addition to supporting our current product offerings, Dave will
also specialize in bringing new products to our portfolio. Mueller Graphic
Supply has served the prepress, printing and imaging industries since 1982, and
our family's roots in the industry go back 60 years. Mueller Graphic Supply has
consistently ranked in the top 25 of women-owned businesses in the state of
Wisconsin.
RJ Young Honors Rising
Stars At Annual Company Meeting
The RJ Young Company held their annual company meeting set in a 1920's theme in
Nashville, TN on Saturday January 26th where Columbus, MS was named Branch of
the Year, Brantley Pearce Employee of the Year and Tim Williams received the
highest honor of the night, the John T. Crunk Leadership Award. "Our
company is dependent on the leadership and service that each employee
contributes and because of Brantley, Tim and the team in Columbus, MS we were
able to have a record year," said Chip Crunk, President & CEO of RJ
Young Company. RJ Young Company grew by 13% to reach 89 million in 2012. Tim
Williams, Sales Managers for Tupelo and Columbus, along with his Columbus, MS
team played a big role in reaching that goal with 137% year over year
growth.
Des Plaines Office
Equipment's Les Rolsky Awarded
Les Rolsky of Schaumburg, a Senior Account Manager at Des Plaines Office
Equipment recently received the James Ballee Award from the Greater O'Hare
Association as their Most Outstanding Member of 2012. Rolsky and DPOE are
members of the Greater O'Hare Association, a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven
business association dedicated to growing and sustaining the regional business
community. Its membership is more than 700 and ranges from major corporations
to home-based businesses in more than 80 Chicago area communities.
