Urgent News For Mailing Equipment Dealers
The use of the Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) is required starting January 28, 2013 in order to maintain automation mail discounts, which can be significant. The Postal Service has been holding a series of webinars to assist mailers and mailing service providers with the switch from the POSTNET barcode to IMb. Global Imaging Grand Opening
Global Imaging has opened its new 6,500 square foot Workflow Studio-the only showroom in the U.S. that features a full grand format printing workflow from prepress to printing to finishing.

Tara Lamb, president of Global had this to say: "Typically customer-demonstrations done at manufacturer facilities feature a limited product line. We recognized that it would help customer make better business decisions if they could see how the equipment all came together and worked in conjunction with each other in an effective workflow environment."

Looking ahead to 2013, Global Imaging hopes to use the Workflow Studio for demonstrations and to enhance the customer experience by offering educational seminars and events on a regular basis.

Giant Media, digital printing equipment and solutions company invited everyone to bring their files to "The World is Flat(Bed)" Open House. It took place September 27th & 28th, 2012 at Giant Media Headquarters located at 2902 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Giant Media has partnered with GraphixDirect to bring you an Open House featuring the Flora Hi-Resolution 2512 UV Flatbed printer. Everyonebrought their custom files to see how well the Flora can handle various files and get educated by an expert representative from GraphixDirect. There were print demonstrations all day long.
